12/10/18 | Mini and Junior Teams
For this season, 2 to 3 first team squad players have adopted an individual Mini and Junior Team.
With 2 or 3 of the Senior players adopting an individual team, it is hoped that each age group gets a visit from one of their first team champions on a regular basis.
“It’s not a case of taking over the coaching” explains Head Coach Adam Fletcher, “but more to develop a shared Lymm RFC culture and to get a better connection right through the club. We want to inspire our players to enjoy rugby at Lymm for the future, whether it’s 1st team or 4th team and also encourage them to come along with their families to watch the first team games at home. You never know, one day, future M&J’s will be coming to watch them”.
