Record Nos attend Lymm Beer and Gin Festival 2019

On Friday 8th February, Lymm held its 9th Beer Festival, this year with the addition of a Gin Bar and what an excellent evening it turned out to be.

All sections of the club were represented, as a record number of  160+ people attended, a large percentage being ladies, who drank the Gin Bar dry. 15 excellent cask beers, plus an international selection of 13 different gin brands were available to be sampled. It was a tremendous financial success with Barclay’s Bank matching pound for pound, all money raised.

The club would like to thank all the drinks sponsors, in particular; Adam Halford at Primrose Hill Nurseries and Beechwood Industries for glass sponsorship; Lymm Oughtington Park Cricket Club for sponsoring the band Fine Lines; Lymm Touch Rugby for sponsoring the Gin Bar; 4T’s Brewery for setting up the additional bar; Rick Condo and the Lymm RFC bar staff.

Finally a huge thank you to Andy Watson of Lymm M&J’s and his helpers, who put in so much work to make this event such a success.
