Shape the future
Your chance to help build the club – your club needs you!
The AGM is on Tuesday 22 May 8pm. This is your chance to have a say on the running of the club and the executive. This year also signifies a slight change in that it also means it is your chance to get involved as we need you.
The current executive has done a tremendous job in setting a commercial platform for success as well as planning for the new clubhouse. The next phase of all this development will be the implementation which will be a hugely exciting time for all involved, and likely to take at least 3 years. For this reason, many of the current executive have thought that they are unlikely to be able to see the implementation through to completion and so have decided to step down this year in order that others can have a good run at delivering these fabulous projects such as the new Artificial Grass Pitch (AGP) and clubhouse.
In addition, the club are also looking to have more members involved rolling forwards, things like support on sponsorship, social media, the social side, and other commercial opportunities. There will also be a strong requirement to have people involved who understand compliance and regulations around having both a limited company and a charitable status.
We call for any member wishing to take a position (in any capacity) to contact our Hon Secretary, Neil Allen at email@example.com or 07917 378083.
